Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

JURNAL KEUANGAN UMUM dan AKUNTANSI TERAPAN

POLITEKNIK KEUANGAN NEGARA STAN

Journal of Applied Finance and Accounting (KUAT) is a national journal published twice a year in March and November by the Pusat Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat, Politeknik Keuangan Negara STAN. The minimum number of articles in this journal is 10 articles per year.

The articles published include articles from the results of community service activities with the following conditions:

  1. Articles in the form of reports on the results of community service both in Indonesian
  2. The studies or topics published in the KUAT Journal are focused on the application of science (Agriculture, Fisheries, Maritime Affairs, Environment, Disaster Management, Health, Economics, Management, Accounting, Social and Cultural, Applied Technology, Information and Communication Technology, and Education) in empowering society.
  3. Articles sent to journals are not being sent to other journals/publications and have not been published in other journals/publications.
  4. Articles are sent in softcopy in Microsoft Word format.
  5. The editor has the right to edit the grammar and spelling of the published manuscript without reducing or changing the meaning of the article.

Article Structure:

  1. Title: Written briefly and concisely (max 12 words)
  2. Author's Name: The author's name is written without title, institution of origin, country, and email address, and contact number where he can be contacted (Whatsap).
  3. Abstract: Abstract is written in English. The abstract contains a description of the objectives of community service, the methods used, and the results of community service. Abstracts are written concisely, concisely and written in one paragraph (maximum 150-300 words).
  4. Keywords: Keywords contain 3-5 keywords here, separated by commas between them, regarding basic ideas or concepts that represent the field being researched.
  5. Introduction: This section contains situation analysis, problem formulation, objectives, references, and benefits of community service.
  6. Materials and Methods: This section contains the problem solving framework, realization of problem solving, target audience and methods used in community service.
  7. Results and Discussion: This section contains the results that have been obtained in the implementation of community service and are then discussed with various existing references.
  8. Conclusions and Suggestions: Presents conclusions and suggestions based on the results of community service activities.
  9. Bibliography: Contains the sources referred to in writing the article, only the sources used are included in the bibliography.

Article Format:

  1. Articles are presented in Indonesian.
  2. Articles are sent in soft copy form by submitting directly on the link: http://jurnal.pknstan.ac.id/index.php/KUAT, then follow the registration procedure. Articles that are not published will not be returned.
  3. The length of the article is between 4 and 20 pages and written on A4 size paper with 1 (single) spacing.
  4. Font used: Century Gothic size 9
  5. Each table or figure is given a sequential number, title, which corresponds to the contents of the table and figure, and the source of the quotation (if any). The source of the quote is written below the image or table. The table title is written above the table and the image title is written below the image.
  6. All pages including tables, appendices and bibliography are numbered sequentially.
  7. The source of the in-text quotation is written between the opening and closing brackets, stating the author's last name, year and page number if deemed necessary. Example: If the quote comes from one source: (Agus Wibowo, 2012), (Dedi Purwana, 2015:131), (Gurry & Yulk, 2006:72), (Case, et.al., 2012) or (Agus Wibowo, et al., 2015). If the quotation comes from two sources with different authors: (Bush, 2009: 163; Choleman & Tracy, 2010: 254)
  8. The bibliography is written alphabetically according to the last name (without academic degrees), both foreign and Indonesian authors with the following examples:
