Journal History

Jurnal Pajak dan Keuangan Negara (JPKN) was first published in September 2019 by the Polytechnic of State Finance STAN (Politeknik Keuangan Negara STAN) as part of its commitment to strengthening academic research and policy studies in the fields of taxation and public finance.

Since its inaugural issue, PKN has aimed to provide a reputable academic platform for researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and students to disseminate high-quality, evidence-based studies relevant to national and international fiscal issues.

Over the years, the journal has continued to expand its scholarly contributions by improving the quality of its editorial processes, adopting international publishing standards, and refining its focus exclusively on taxation and public finance. PKN consistently strives to enhance the visibility, accessibility, and impact of research in these fields through a rigorous double-blind peer review system and a fully open-access publication model.

As part of its long-term vision, PKN seeks to strengthen its role in shaping discourse on taxation, customs, excise, fiscal policy, and public sector financial management—both in Indonesia and globally.
